Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is a singer and model, but not just an ordinary singer and model. She is unique.
Her stage name is Caroline Charonplop Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. It is very long so she is called Kyary or Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. She was born in Tokyo. Her mother was strict. She couldn’t use her cell phone from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. and had a curfew at 7 p.m. And also she couldn’t wear make-up.
When Kyary was a high school student, she loved Perfume, which is a women’s group produced by Yasutaka Nakata. He came across Kyary at an event when she was a graduating high school student. Yasutaka recommended that Kyary become a singer.
Kyary has three unique things about her.
The first thing that is unique about her is her everyday style. She doesn’t like people who copy her fashion. So she has a unique and original fashion style.
Another unique thing about her is the design of her concert clothes.

The last unique thing about her is her music videos. Her music videos are very colorful.
This music video is “Pon Pon Pon”. It was her first music video. Katy Perry who is Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’ s fan said, “I’m so in love with her but she also makes me feel high.”
This music video is “Furisodeshonn”. A “furisode” is a Japanese kimono which is worn on coming of age day. This song was made when she became 20. So this song is a commemorative song for her.
